When the UIGEA passed into law and many of the software providers stopped accepting US players my first thought was that I was going to have to pack my bags and plan a trip to Vegas in order to get to play my favorite types of slots games which are 5 reel video slots that carry some sort of bonus or free spins bonus rounds.

The one complaint I do have about their software and this is more of a global issue on the Realtime Gaming side of things in that their slots games could use a bit more variety in terms of bonus rounds that are not so free spins oriented as they are currently. I’d really love to see some more dynamic multi-level type bonus rounds from Realtime Gaming.

Although RTG games are not the best and there are far better software providers out there unfortunately as a US player my options and yours too if you reside in the US are limited. There are some promising new online casino software platforms coming about that are showing a lot of promise but they still have a ways to go as far as I’m concerned.

The one thing that I think that Rushmore and all RTG casinos for that matter are lacking are tournaments. This is something that Vegas Technology has introduced at online casinos from what I understand. Microgaming and Cryptologic were the second of the casino software providers to pick it up but RTG is lagging behind and hasn’t yet introduced tournaments within their platform. I believe if they aren’t already doing so they really should be putting some focus on tournaments.

I’ve found that Rushmore casino is a great substitute for the older Microgaming and Cryptologic powered casinos that I used to play at. Although they’re powered by Realtime Gaming software which for the longest time I wasn’t overly fond of I find that their newer games and progressives to be fairly decent especially their reel series of slots games.

One thing that really drew me into playing at Rushmore online casino was their bonus offer for new players which is an exceptional bonus with very few conditions if you ask me…
